请教各位顾问和家长。孩子8升9，男孩，现在在美高9年级走读教会学校。想2015年秋季转入寄宿学校，但是没有标化成绩，这在美国是否可行？需要哪些申请材料？一些大部分走读、只有国际生寄宿的寄宿学校是否值得转？有什么利弊呢？谢谢大家。

只有国际学生住宿的可能是校外公寓， 是走读学校加上校外公寓。
